Puerto Galera has started to accept fully vaccinated tourists even without a negative swab test result against the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19), according to the resort town’s municipal administrator.
Municipal administrator Carmela Datinguinoo said during the Laging Handa public briefing that they would even offer free antigen tests to those who are about to receive Covid-19 vaccines or those who only have received the first dose.
“Kapag fully vaccinated na po ang aming mga turista hindi na po kailangan ng RT-PCR,” she said.
The free antigen tests would be conducted at the Batangas City Grand Terminal.
Datinguinoo added that even Puerto Galera residents are included in the municipal government’s free antigen tests. Ronald Espartinez
