The Department of Health (DOH) said the country’s Covid-19 infections remain manageable with no “significant” increase in infections being reported.

DOH officer-in-charge Maria Rosario Vergeire said that the Philippines posted an average of 133 infections daily, which is slightly higher compared to average cases in the past weeks.

However, she noted that the uptick in cases was insignificant.

Meanwhile, the health department said it is closely monitoring the bed utilization rate, particularly in Malabon.

“Sa ngayon, we can say everything is manageable. Our hospitals are able to manage our cases.

Healthcare utilization rates in the region remain low risk at 20.30 percent as of March 5.
