The Philippines’ coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) tally reached 631,320 after the Department of Health (DOH) reported 4,437 new infections.

The DOH said seven Covid-19 laboratories failed to submit their daily reports on time. 

Currently, there are 57,736 active Covid-19 cases undergoing medical treatment and quarantine: 92.6 percent are mild, 4 percent are asymptomatic, 1.3 percent are severe, and 1.3 percent are in critical condition.

The current active Covid-19 cases in the country is this year’s highest. 

Meanwhile, the country’s recovery rate increased to 569,736 with 166 more patients winning the fight against the deadly respiratory illness.
