Philippine Airlines announced on Tuesday that scheduled flights from Manila to Region 6 have been cancelled due to the ongoing enhanced community quarantine in the NCR-Plus area, effective today until April 10.

The suspension was in line with the directive imposed by the Civil Aeronautics Board and upon the request of the local government units, which was endorsed by the Department of the Interior and Local Government.

All flights from Manila to Bacolod, Iloilo, Antique, Caticlan, Kalibo and Roxas were cancelled until April 10.

Flights from Cebu to Caticlan were cancelled until April 10 while Cebu to Bacolod flights were cancelled up to April 9.

Inbound flights to Manila from Bacolod, Iloilo, Caticlan, Kalibo and Roxas will continue during the period. Antique to Manila flights will resume on April 10.

PAL flights to other regions will continue during the period but are subject to health protocols imposed by local government units.

Medical frontliners, government officials, humanitarian cases, returning OFWs and locally stranded individuals will be allowed to travel during the cancellation period.
