The Philippines caseload for coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) crossed the 380,000 mark after the Department of Health (DOH) announced 1,803 new infections.
The country’s tally now stands at 380,729 with twelve Covid-19 laboratories failing to submit their data on time.
Bulk of the new cases came from Rizal with 97; Davao City with 93; Quezon City with 86; Cavite with 66; and Pasig City with 65.
Currently, 42,462 remaining active Covid-19 cases are undergoing treatment or quarantine: 83.2 percent are mild, 11.3 percent are asymptomatic, 1.9 percent are severe, and 3.5 percent are in critical condition.
The country’s recovery rate increased to 331,046 with 606 more patients winning the fight against the deadly respiratory illness.
Death toll stands at 7,221 with 36 new fatalities.
