With this, the country’s active Covid-19 cases spiked to 109,018, the highest number recorded this year.
Among the number, 95.1% are mild, 3% are asymptomatic, 0.8% are severe, and 0.7% are in critical condition.
Meanwhile, the country’s recovery rate increased to 580,689 with 663 more patients beating the deadly respiratory illness.
Death toll, on the other hand, inches to 13,149 with 54 new fatalities.
The DOH said that twenty-nine duplicate cases were deducted from the total case count while 22 cases that were earlier declared as recovered were reclassified as deaths after final validation.
