
The Philippines’ caseload for coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) reached 469,886 after the Department of Health (DOH) announced 883 new infections, the lowest daily report since July 14.
According to the DOH’s latest report, 15 Covid-19 laboratories failed to submit their daily reports on time.
Majority of the new cases came from Rizal with 66; followed by Quezon City with 50; Benguet with 47; Davao City with 42; and the City of Manila with 35.
Currently, there are 22,099 active Covid-19 cases undergoing medical treatment and quarantine.
Meanwhile, the country’s recovery rate increased to 438,678 with 7,635 more patients winning the fight against the deadly virus.
Death toll, on the other hand, stands at 9,109 with 42 more fatalities. RJ Espartinez
