The Philippines logged 665 new coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) infections, the lowest daily count since July 14, 2020.
The Department of Health (DOH) confirmed that three Covid-19 laboratories failed to submit their reports on time.
The country has 2,832,375 total Covid-19 infections with 16,289 active cases undergoing medical treatment and/or treatment.
Among the said active cases, 48.1% are mild, 6.0% are asymptomatic, 23.82% are moderate, 15.6% are severe, and 6.6% are in critical condition.
Meanwhile, the country’s recovery rate increased to 2,767,585 with 993 more patients winning the fight against the deadly respiratory illness.
Death toll, on the other hand, climbed to 48,501 with 141 new fatalities.
The health department also reported that 10 duplicates were removed from the nationwide count, including eight recoveries and one fatality. Ronald Espartinez
