The Department of Health (DOH) said seven Covid-19 laboratories failed to submit their daily reports on time.

Currently, there are 56,679 active Covid-19 cases, the highest recorded this year.

Among the said numbers, 92.3 percent are mild, 4.3 percent are asymptomatic, 1.4 percent are severe, and 1.4 percent are in critical condition.

The country’s recovery rate increased to 547,166 with 281 more patients winning the fight against the deadly respiratory illness.

Death toll, on other hand, inches to 12,766 with 72 new fatalities.

Meanwhile, the DOH also confirmed that it had successfully removed 6 duplicate cases from the nationwide count.

“Moreover, 23 cases that were previously tagged as recoveries were reclassified as deaths after final validation,” the DOH said. Ronald dela Cruz
