The Philippines registered 3,410 new coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) infections, pushing the nationwide tally to 2,787,276.

The Department of Health (DOH) also confirmed that four Covid-19 laboratories failed to submit their reports on time. 

Today’s count brings the active cases to 45,233. Among the said number, 73.6% experience mild symptoms, 4.9% are asymptomatic, 11.83% are moderate cases, 6.8% severe, and 2.9% critical.

Meanwhile, the country’s recovery rate increased to 2,698,871 with 5,825 more patients winning the fight against the deadly respiratory illness.

Death toll, on the other hand, climbed to 43,172 with 128 new fatalities. 

The health department reported that 30 duplicates were removed from the nationwide count, as well as 25 recoveries. Ronald Espartinez
