The Philippines reported 1,894 new coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) infections, pushing the nationwide tally to 2,813,115.

The Department of Health (DOH) also revealed that two Covid-19 laboratories failed to submit their daily reports on time. 

Today’s count brings the active cases to 29,105. Among the said number, 63% are mild, 5.7% are asymptomatic, 16.70% are moderate, 10.2% are severe, and 4.4% are in critical condition.

Meanwhile, the country’s recovery rate climbed to 2,738,975 with 1,421 more patients winning the fight against the deadly respiratory illness.

Death toll, on the other hand, increased to 43,035 with 170 new fatalities. 

The health department also reported that 27 duplicates were removed from the nationwide count. Among the said number, 23 are recovered and one fatality. Ronald Espartinez
