The Department of Health (DOH) announced 1,314 new coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) cases, raising the Philippines’ tally to 462,815.

According to the latest DOH’s data, ten Covid-19 laboratories failed to submit their daily reports on time. 

Bulk of the new cases were recorded in Quezon City at 93; followed by Rizal with 89; Benguet with 78; Bulacan with 61; and Davao City with 60.

Currently, 24,375 active Covid-19 cases are undergoing treatment or quarantine.

The country’s recovery rate increased to 429,419 with 247 more patients winning the fight against the deadly respiratory illness. 

Death toll, on the other hand, stands at 9,021 with 66 new fatalities.
