The Philippines logged 11,010 new coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) infections, raising the nationwide tally to 2,654,450.
This brings the active cases in the country to 106,558. Among the said number, 76.3% are mild, 13.9% are asymptomatic, 5.64% are moderate, 2.9% are severe, and 1.2% are in critical condition.
Meanwhile, the country’s recovery rate increased to 2,508,387 with 22,529 more patients winning the fight against the deadly respiratory illness.
