The Philippines reported 10,098 new coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) infections, raising the nationwide tally to 936,133.

Amid the huge number, the Department of Health (DOH) said that seven Covid-19 laboratories failed to submit their daily reports on time. 

With this, the country’s active Covid-19 infections increased to 141,089, majority of them are mild cases (96.7%) while 1.7% are asymptomatic, 0.7% are severe, and 0.5% are in critical condition.

Meanwhile, the country’s recovery rate spiked to 779,084 with the DOH reporting 72,607 recoveries. 

Death toll, on the other hand, climbed to 15,960 with 150 new fatalities. Ronald dela Cruz
