The Philippines posted 70 more coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) recoveries for two days in a row, bringing the total number of recoveries to 932, the Department of Health (DOH) announced Monday.

However, COVID-19 fatalities in the country is at 511 after the DOH reported 10 new deaths due to the respiratory disease.

Meanwhile, the total number of positive cases from the infection jumped to 7,777 with 198 new infections, the DOH’s daily bulletin stated. 

Singapore remains on top in Southeast Asia for the most number of COVID-19 cases at 14,423. Indonesia followed behind with 9,096 cases trailed by the Philippines.  (RJ Espartinez)
