The Philippines on Thursday received 499,200 reformulated Pfizer-BioNTech Covid-19 vaccine doses for children.

The doses, procured through the World Bank, arrived in two tranches.

The latest deliveries brought to 244,768,560 the total Covid-19 vaccines delivered to the country since February 2021.

According to data from the National COVID-19 Vaccination Operations Center, 67,792,216 Filipinos have been fully vaccinated against Covid-19 as of April 28.

More than 13 million individuals have received their booster shots.

The Philippines is preparing to roll out second booster shots for Filipinos.
