The Philippines on Monday received 2,753,010 doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech Covid-19 vaccine.

The Pfizer vaccines arrived in two batches.

The first batch consisted of 1,776,060 doses donated by the US government through the Covax facility.

Washington has donated over 20 million jabs to Manila to date.

The second batch consisted of 976,950 Philippine government-procured doses.

The Philippines has received 187,165,510 Covid-19 vaccines since February.

According to the National Covid-19 Vaccination Dashboard, 101,656,199 doses have been administered as of Dec. 20.
