The Philippines reported 1,474 new coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) infections, pushing the nationwide tally to 2,824,499.

The Department of Health (DOH) announced that two Covid-19 laboratories failed to submit their daily reports on time.

Currently, there are 22,070 active Covid-19 infections undergoing medical treatment and/or quarantine: 58.1% are mild, 4.1% are asymptomatic, 20.02% are moderate, 12.5% are severe, and 5.3% are in critical condition.

Meanwhile, the country’s recovery rate increased to 2,755,526 with 2,565 patients winning the fight against the deadly respiratory illness.

Death toll, on the other hand, climbed to 46,903 with 205 new fatalities. 

The health department confirmed that 15 duplicates were removed from the nationwide count. Among the said number, 13 are recoveries.
