41 patients have successfully recovered from the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in the Philippines, bringing the total number of recoveries to 654, the Department of Health (DOH) announced Tuesday.
The death toll, on the other hand, inched a bit with 9 new fatalities, bringing the total to 437.
Meanwhile, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the country jumped to 6,599 with 140 new confirmed infections, according to DOH’s daily bulletin.
The Health Department also announced that 58,072 Filipinos have been tested for COVID-19. 50,471 or 86.9% tested negative while 7,547 or 13% posted positive.
Singapore remains on top for the most number of COVID-19 cases at 9,125. Indonesia followed the rank with 7,135 followed by the Philippines. (RJ Espartinez)
