The Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) on Emerging Infectious Diseases will start accepting vaccination certificates from Malaysia and Thailand, the Palace announced on Monday.
Acting Palace spokesman Karlo Nograles said vaccination certificates issued by the two nations were approved for purposes of arrival quarantine protocols and interzonal and intrazonal movement in the Philippines.
The recommendation was made by the Department of Foreign Affairs, Nograles added.
The IATF earlier approved the vaccination certificates from Brazil, Israel, South Korea and Timor Leste.
The Philippines also accepts the World Health Organization International Certificate of Vaccination and Prophylaxis and VaxCertPH as proofs of vaccinations.
The country has more than 60 million fully vaccinated individuals as of Feb. 9.
It recorded 2,730 new cases on Monday, which pushed its active tally to 76,709. John Ezekiel J. Hirro
