​Chevron Philippines Inc. (CPI), the marketer of Caltex in the Philippines, partnered with local bus company JAC Liner to provide four shuttle buses shuttle our frontliners across the National Capital Region (NCR) during the enhanced community quarantine.

The buses are currently servicing the PITX-Alabang and Ortigas-Shaw Boulevard routes until the first week of April. CPI donated P250,000 worth of fuel for the buses.
Together with Chevron Holdings Inc., CPI also donated P500,000 to the Philippine General Hospital Medical Foundation Inc. to cover expenses for personal protective equipment and medical supplies for the hospital’s healthcare workers.


Caltex also partnered with Grab Philippines to provide daily gas vouchers worth P300 for each volunteer helping out in the GrabBayanihan initiative which provides free transportation for healthcare professionals.

In all CPI, has donated almost P1,000,000 to various institutions as aid in the country’s ongoing battle against the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) also known as the Wuhan Coronavirus. (Rommel F. Lopez)
