Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto has shut down a drive-thru testing center for illegal operations.
In the Laging Handa government briefing on July 6 (Tuesday), Sotto said the testing center lacked a Department of Health (DOH) permit.
“Wala po silang permit mula sa DOH, so syempre bilang isang medical facility kailangan meron po tayong permits. Kung ano pong mga permit na kailangan dapat na-inspeksyon po ito ng ating DOH. Kung wala po, dapat maging strikto tayo kasi kaligtasan at kalusugan po ang pinag-uusapan natin dito,” he said.
(It lacks permit from the DOH, and as a medical facility, it needs to have a permit. Whatever the required permits are, it needs to be inspected by the DOH. If there is none, we need to be strict since it’s our safety and health we are talking about.)
