Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto wants two vaccination slot “fixers” sued after they were caught giving early appointments in exchange for money.
In the Laging Handa government briefing on July 6 (Tuesday), Sotto said his office had submitted a report on the fixers to the National Vaccination Operations Center (NVOC).
“Yung dalawang fixer na naitukoy natin ay nakapag case buildup na po tayo at nag submit po tayo ng report sa NVOC. So inaasahan natin na maaksyunan ito sa mas mabilis na panahon at gusto nating makita ay makasuhan sila,” he said.
(We are done with the case buildup and we have already submitted a report to NVOC for the two fixers we have identified. We are expecting a faster action, and we want to see them sued.)
Sotto said Pasig had removed the two “fixers” from its vaccination team.
Sotto also said the city government was tracking down other fixers to stop the recurrence of such incidents. Hazel N. Camba
