Pasig City has completed the first-dose vaccination of its senior citizens against Covid-19, Mayor Vico Sotto announced on Thursday.
In a Facebook post, Sotto said all senior citizens who registered for vaccination have been inoculated.
“Ibig sabihin, ang bawat isa sa 44,703 seniors na validated ay nabakunahan na,” he said.
Senior citizens fall under the A2 category of the country’s inoculation priority list.
They are only second to health workers. who are the government’s top priority for vaccination.
Sotto also said that Pasig was able to achieve a single-day vaccination record of 11,817 jabs, which surpassed the city’s initial target of 5,800 per day. John Ezekiel J. Hirro
