Pampanga Gov. Dennis “Delta” Pineda announced that villages in the province would undergo random house-to-house Covid-19 surveys and mass testing as the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) neared its May 15 end.
The surveys and mass testing would be conducted by the Philippine Survey and Research Center, results of which would be used to assess the province’s readiness to transition from ECQ to general community quarantine (GCQ).
The province hosts the Jose B. Lingad Memorial Regional Hospital, whose mass testing lab is being used by other provinces in Region 3.
