The country’s three-day national vaccination drive may be declared non-working days, Malacañang said on Thursday.

The vaccination drive is scheduled for Nov. 29 to Dec. 1. It will coincide with the commemoration of Bonifacio Day, a national non-working holiday.

“Inaasikaso po kung ano magiging desisyon ng Office of the President tungkol diyan; mag-aanunsiyo po tayo,” Palace spokesman Harry Roque said.

According to latest government data, more than 30.4 million Filipinos have been fully vaccinated against Covid-19.

The government aims to inoculate up to 15 million Filipinos during the three-day drive.

Vaccine czar Carlito Galvez Jr. earlier said the national vaccination drive would help the country increase the number of jabs administered, to vaccinate more Filipinos before the Christmas season.

He said the country would then aim to sustain the average of jabs administered beyond the vaccination drive.

The country has recorded 28,660 active Covid-19 cases as of Nov. 11. John Ezekiel J. Hirro
