Tropical Depression Paeng maintained its strength as it moves westward over the Philippine Sea, state weather PAGASA said.  

In its 5 p.m. bulletin, Paeng’s center was spotted at 945 km east of Eastern Visayas (12.4°N, 133.3°E). It has maximum sustained winds of 45 km/h near the center, gustiness of up to 55 km/h, and central pressure of 1004 hPa.

The state weather bureau added that Paeng was moving westward at 10 km/h carrying strong winds extending outwards up to 300 km from the center.

PAGASA did not declare any Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal as of the moment. 

However, the Bicol Region may experience heavy to intense rains on Friday early morning through Saturday early morning. 

Eastern Visayas, and the provinces of Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, Quezon, Aurora, Isabela, and Cagayan will experience moderate to heavy with at times intense rains.

Light to moderate with at times heavy rains may be experienced over Rizal, Laguna, Nueva Ecija, Bulacan, Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley and the rest of Visayas.
