Senator and presidential aspirant Manny Pacquiao said he is confident that Visayas and Mindanao will vote for him.

Pacquiao said.making a courtesy call to Bulacan Governor Daniel Fernando.

Pacquiao also does not believe that President Rodrigo Duterte’s decision to run as senator was so that the chief executive could take over the upper chamber once elected, stressing that senators are independent and could never be controlled by anyone.

“I am not in a position para husgahan ang Pangulong Duterte pagdating sa kanyang desisyon sa pagtakbo. The Senate has and will always be a congregation of 24 independent minds and I don’t see any reason why it would cease to become one for any reason, ” Pacquiao pointed out.

Pacquiao also visited the Guadalupe Public Market in Makati City as a way of his support to market vendors as well as conduct a “reality check” on the things that are happening on the ground.

Ronald Espartinez
