The Office of the Vice President, via its satellite offices, has started providing social services programs, as well as medical and burial assistance.

Earlier, Vice President Sara Duterte launched the OVP satellite offices in various regions across the country to give immediate services to the public.

The medical and burial assistance provided in the satellite offices can be claimed via partner hospitals or direct walk-in applications.

“These established satellite offices across the country will widen the program’s reach and will guarantee a better provision of assistance,” lawyer Reynold Munsayac, Duterte’s spokesperson, said in a news release.

Interested applicants are advised to accomplish the following requirements to avail of the said services:

  1. Filled-out application form.
  2. Submit the complete requirements and form via walk-in to the satellite office processor/staff.
  3. Wait for the processing of the application.
  4. The processor/staff will inform the applicant of the date of issuance of assistance that will be provided personally or via email.

The recently opened OVP satellite offices are found in Dagupan (Region 1), Cebu (Region VII), Tacloban (Region VIII), Zamboanga (Region IX), Davao (Region XI), and Tandag in Surigao del Sur (Region XIII).
