The Philippines received more than 375,000 doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech Covid-19 vaccine on Monday night, the National Task Force (NTF) Against Covid-19 said.

The latest shipment of 375,570 Pfizer doses was part of the 40 million doses the government procured from the US drug firm.

The country now has 3,410,550 Pfizer doses. Of the total, 2,472,210 were donations from the Covax facility.

Of the latest shipment of Pfizer shots that arrived, 272,610 doses were transported to a cold storage facility in Marikina City, the NTF.

Some 51,480 doses were delivered in Cebu City, while 51,480 shots were shipped to Davao City.

The latest batch of vaccines brought the country’s total vaccine supply to 31,360,700 doses.

The country has been using six brands of vaccines: Sinovac, AstraZeneca, Sputnik V, Moderna, Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson. John Ezekiel J. Hirro
