The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) recorded over 100 aftershocks after the magnitude six earthquake in Masbate.
Around 135 earthquakes were logged as of 1 p.m., Thursday.
Among the said number, only 16 were felt.
Phivolcs said that the magnitude of the aftershocks ranges from 1.5 to 4.2.
The earthquake struck 10 kilometers southwest of Batuan town in Masbate at around 2:10 am, Thursday, with a shallow depth of ten kilometers.
Only minor damage has been logged after the quake, the Office of Civil Defense shared.
