The OCTA Research Team on Monday noted a decrease in Covid-19 positivity rate in several Luzon provinces over the past week.

In a tweet, OCTA fellow Guido David said Albay, Cagayan, Camarines Sur, Isabela, La Union, Nueva Ecija and Tarlac all saw lower positivity rates but remained at “very high” risk for the disease.

Metro Manila’s positivity rate decreased from 14.6 percent to 12.9 percent, he said.

Camarines Sur recorded the highest positivity rate at 46.7 percent, followed by Nueva Ecija (42.5 percent) and Tarlac (37.3 percent).

Bataan had the lowest positivity rate in Luzon with 8.8 percent.

Albay saw the steepest decrease in positivity rate from 31 percent to 21.2 percent.

Rizal was the only region that saw its positivity rate rise over the past week.
