Metro Manila’s Covid-19 indicators over the past seven days suggest that the region is at “very low risk” for the disease, the OCTA Research Team said on Wednesday.

In a report posted by Dr. Guido David on Twitter, OCTA said Metro Manila had the highest Covid-19 average daily attack rate (ADAR) the past week but numbers remained low.

“While NCR had the highest ADAR of 0.60, this is still below 1 or very low risk. (In January, the NCR ADAR exceeded 100),” David said.

As of April 20, the region has more than 5,939 active Covid-19 cases.

Metro Manila is under Alert Level 1 until April 30.

The hospital facility occupancy rate in the region remains at the “safe” level with over 26,000 beds vacant. John Ezekiel J. Hirro
