The OCTA Research Team on Monday said Metro Manila’s Covid-19 indicators over the past seven days suggested that the region remained at “low risk” for the disease.

In a report posted by Dr. Guido David on Twitter, OCTA said the reproduction number in Metro Manila increased from 1.02 to 1.08 the past week.

The reproduction rate was at the “moderate risk” level.

All other indicators remained at the “very low” level.

The one-week average daily attack rate of Covid-19 in the region slightly increased from 0.51 to 0.52. Positivity rate also saw a slight increase from 1.2 percent to 1.4 percent.

As of May 30, the region has 902 active Covid-19 cases.

Metro Manila is under Alert Level 1 until June 15.

The hospital facility occupancy rate in the region remains at the “safe” level with 25,825 beds vacant. John Ezekiel J. Hirro
