Metro Manila’s Covid-19 cases saw a 15-percent decrease week-to-week decrease, the OCTA Research Team said on Monday.

In a tweet, OCTA fellow Guido David said several Covid-19 indicators of the region saw a slowing down over the past week.

“The one-week growth rate of new Covid-19 cases in [Metro Manila] was -15 percent as of Aug. 21, 2022, compared with -1 percent as of Aug. 14,” he said.

The region’s Covid-19 reproduction number also saw a decline from 1.11 as of Aug. 11 to 1.03 as of Aug. 18.

Its one-week positivity rate also decreased from 16.3 percent as of Aug. 13 percent to 14.6 percent as of Aug. 20.

The region’s Covid-19 indicators showed that it remained at moderate risk, David said.

Metro Manila is under Alert Level 1 until the end of the month. John Ezekiel J. Hirro
