The OCTA Research Team on Wednesday said Metro Manila’s Covid-19 growth rate declined to 14 percent over the past week.

In a tweet, OCTA fellow Dr. Guido David noted a seven-point decrease in the growth rate which was 21 percent in the previous week.

The region’s Covid-19 reproduction number also saw a slight decline from 1.33 to 1.24.

Its seven-day average increased to 1,209 from last week’s 1,057.

The region’s average daily attack rate also grew to 8.39 per 100,000 from last week’s 7.34.

“There is again hope that cases will peak soon,” David said.
