An adviser of the National Task Force (NTF) Against Covid-19 urged the next administration to sustain the country’s fight against Covid-19 by prioritizing vaccination.

In a “Laging Handa” briefing, NTF adviser Dr. Ted Herbosa said vaccination helped the country impose looser health restrictions.

Herbosa said the 2022 elections might not have been held the way they were if the country did not have high vaccination numbers.

“Nakapag-hold tayo ng malawakang national elections because our cases were only 100 plus daily, ‘no. So, nakita natin iyong result ng massive vaccination drive nitong nakaraang taon,” he said.
