Amid the devastation brought by Severe Tropical Storm Paeng, the Supreme Court ruled that this year’s Bar examinations will push through as scheduled.

The exams will happen on Nov. 9, 13, 16, and 20, the high court said.

The court said that its decision was based on considering those who were severely affected by Paeng, those who are keen on taking the exams as scheduled, and how postponing it could create a ripple effect on the schedule of the next Bar exams scheduled in September 2023.

Moreover, the high court said it is allowing a refund for examinees who will not be able to take the exam this month. The fees could also be used for the Bar exam set next year.
