The new season of Netflix’s “Never Have I Ever” will premier in July 2021, the streaming company announced on April 14.

In a press release, Netflix said that the coming-of-age comedy show was renewed for season two with 10 episodes. The exact release date has yet to be confirmed.

Netflix teased the show’s return in an Instagram video featuring its cast.

Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, who plays the main character Devi, also shared photos of the show’s new season on Twitter.

Lonnie Rashid Lynn, also known as rapper Common, will be a recurring guest star for this season.

“Never Have I Ever” features Indian-American teenager Devi as she deals with everyday pressures of high school and drama at home, while exploring new romantic relationships.

The show also stars Ramona Young, Lee Rodriguez, Poorna Jagannathan, Richa Moorjani, Jaren Lewison, Darren Barnet, and Megan Sur.

The comedy series was created by “The Office” star Mindy Kaling, with Lang Fisher as the show’s executive producer, showrunner and writer. It was produced by Howard Klein and David Miner. Ian Gabriel Trinidad
