National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) chief Police Major General Debold Sinas

National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) chief Police Major General Debold Sinas has ordered Metro Manila chiefs of police to arrest those who would be noisy in their communities since online classes already begun.

“Sa ngayon, we have already issued a directive sa mga tao natin lalo na sa chief of police to coordinate sa barangays. Dahil nag-umpisa na po ‘yung distance learning, mga estudyante nag-open na po. So the directive from Camp Crame is close coordination with the barangay to check na dapat hindi maingay,” Sinas said during a press conference.

This is part of the order of the top brass of the Philippine National Police for local police commanders to increase police visibility since classes for the school year 2020-2021 have already started.

Sinas mentioned that currently, no reports on arrests against violators of protocols or those who have been disturbing online learners by creating noise in communities as well as videoke sessions have been reported.

Classes in the country officially started on Monday, October 5.

“Walang activities na malapit sa bahay para di po ma-disturb. As of now, wala pang report kung may naaresto na o wala,” Sinas said.

PNP chief Police General Camilo Pancratius Cascolan already instructed barangay officials to devise a resolution banning the use of videoke machines. RJ Espartinez
