Free antigen testing services in the Metro Rail Transit-Line 3 (MRT-3) will end on June 30, its management announced on Thursday.

In an advisory posted on Facebook, the MRT-3 management said the antigen testing would be halted alongside the free ride program.

“Huling araw ng pamamahagi ng libreng antigen testing ng pamunuan ng MRT-3 para sa mga boluntaryong pasahero nito sa ika-30 ng Hunyo, 2022,” it said.

Free antigen testing is offered at MRT-3’s North Avenue and Shaw Boulevard stations from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m. and at its Cubao and Shaw Boulevard stations from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.

The MRT-3 launched the free testing program on Jan. 11.

Its management said no positive case had been recorded since Jan. 28.

The MRT-3 recorded a two-year single-day passenger-high of 370,276 passengers on June 6, the most since June 1, 2020. John Ezekiel J. Hirro
