The country Monday received 868,140 doses of the reformulated Pfizer-BioNTech Covid-19 vaccines for individuals aged 12 years old and above.

The doses were procured by the government through the World Bank.

According to the National Task Force (NTF) Against Covid-19, the latest Pfizer shipment brought the country’s total doses to 237,894,150.

Based on latest data from the National Vaccination Operations Center, 38,820,024 vaccine doses have been administered in the Philippines as of March 13.

At least 63,118,647 first doses have been administered, while 64,540,840 Filipinos have been fully vaccinated.

Some 11,160,537 Filipinos have received their booster shots.

The government is aiming to have 70 million Filipinos fully vaccinated before April and 90 million fully vaccinated by the end of June to achieve population protection. John Ezekiel J. Hirro
