Manila Mayor Isko Moreno announced that more than 70% of eligible residents in the city have already received the first dose of  coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) vaccines.

Moreno shared in his livestream presser that “76.77% of target qualified individuals already got the first dose,” of the vaccines against Covid-19 which has already infected 68,402 residents in Manila. 

The mayor added that 467,234 or 43% of the 817,665 Manila residents have received both doses of the vaccines.

The City of Manila has already administered 1,246,261 doses of Covid-19 vaccines since the city launched its vaccination drive in March. Ronald Espartinez
