The Philippines received over 2.5 million doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna Covid-19 vaccines on Monday.

The vaccines, which came in separate shipments of 1,085,760 Pfizer doses and 1,497,200 Moderna jabs, were delivered at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 1 in Parañaque.

The new deliveries brought the country’s total vaccine doses to 149,073,130.

The country has administered 92,752,986 Covid-19 vaccine doses as of Dec. 6.

Nearly 38.7 million Filipinos have completed their Covid-19 vaccinations, while 53.4 million have yet to receive their second doses.

Over 561,000 Filipinos have been given booster doses.

The Philippines has recorded 2,835,345 Covid-19 cases to date, of which 13,026 were active. John Ezekiel J. Hirro
