The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) said that it will suspend the expanded number coding scheme on October 31 and November 1 in light of All Saints’ Day or Undas.

Vehicles with plate numbers ending in one to four will be able to travel in Metro Manila within coding hours during the aforementioned dates, according to MMDA’s social media post.

Usually, cars with plate numbers ending with one and two are not permitted to travel on main roads during coding hours on Mondays. The same rules apply on Tuesdays for cars with plate numbers ending with three and four.

The MMDA said it has prepared 1,500 personnel ahead of Undas to ensure peace and security during the holiday.
