In a Palace briefing, Abalos said Metro Manila mayors voted unanimously for the imposition of an 8 p.m. to 4 a.m .curfew.

“Nag-usap-usap na po ang mga alkalde. Napagbotohan po ito at unanimous po sila, starting Aug. 6 ay magiging 8 p.m. up to 4 p.m. po ang curfew,” he said.

The Metro Manila curfew was previously from 12 midnight to 4 a.m.

Abalos said the imposition of liquor bans would be up to city executives.
