OCTA Research fellow Guido David said that Metro Manila’s Covid-19 positivity rate declined to 7.8% as of Nov. 7, coming from 9.5% last Oct. 31.

“Trends project to around 100 new cases per day and less than 5% positivity rate by end of November 2022,” David said in a Twitter post.

The Covid-19 positivity rate shows the number of tested people who are positive for the virus.

“Healthcare utilization rate also remained low at 26% (as of November 7),” said David.

Moreover, the reproduction number in NCR is low at 0.75 as of Nov. 5.

The average daily attack rate (ADAR), on the other hand, is at 1.54 per 100,000, with a one-week growth rate of -29%. ADAR is the number of people infected with Covid-19 per 100,000 individuals.
