The Metro Manila Council donated 7,500 doses of Sinovac vaccines to evacuees surrounding the restive Taal Volcano in Batangas, Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) Chairperson Benhur Abalos said.
“Ito ho ay nai-turn over na po ano, kulang-kulang 7,500. Ito’y pauna pa lang dahil ito’y biglaan, nung Sabado pa lang po namin nai-coordinate sa mga alkalde,” Abalos said in a Laging Handa government briefing on Monday.
The Metro Manila Council will give another round of vaccine donations to Batangas citizens for the second doses of vaccine recipients, he said.
