President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. on Thursday went to Abra to lead the distribution of relief goods to families affected by the magnitude 7 earthquake that jolted the province on Wednesday.

Aside from distributing relief goods, the president visited hospitals, had briefings with local officials and conducted an aerial inspection of the province.

The president also assured the quake victims of more assistance

A total of 798 aftershocks have been recorded with magnitudes ranging from 1.5 to 5.4, according to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC).

Five deaths have been reported after the Wednesday quake. John Ezekiel J. Hirro
