Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso has made the City of Manila’s online tax payment system available for use for all local government units (LGUs) in the country.
The online system can be accessed through the URL cityofmanila.ph, or through the GO Manila app for smartphones.
“This is to encourage paying taxes online instead of going to city and municipal government offices,” the city government’s statement read.
The implementation of online transactions will also help avoid Covid-19 exposure, Moreno said.
Manileños may access other services such as RPTAX, BTAX, Local Civil Registry, Community Tax Certificate CTC / CEDULA, Occupational Permit / Health Certificate, OVR – Ordinance Violation Receipt System, Manila Social Amelioration Beneficiaries, Hospital Management and Administration System, Manila Public Market Management and Administration System and Manila Jobs Portal through the online system.
